Automatic In-Game Train Announcements
Overview
This mod adds authentic in-game train announcements to TSW4. Announcements are triggered automatically for both player and AI trains, without the need for any external programs.
Supported Trains
This mod currently supports the following trains:
- Goblin Line Class 710
- Thameslink Class 700
- Also works on BML with the custom timetable mod by trainsim.cz
Known Issues
- Sometimes the game will crash on the loading screen. If this happens just open the game and try again.
- Announcements only play in certain coaches on the Class 700
- Only works in timetable mode

Installation Instructions
To install, drag the "WindowsNoEditor" folder from the zip file into your TSW4 game directory (eg. steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4).

as soon as i downloaded it it said no executable was found, and all the files in the directory were gone.

I would love to see Vorarlberg have announcements or generally the 4024
S-Bahn Cologne and Munich could get some announcements, that'd be great.
Bakerloo line
Another here for Bakerloo. If ever there was a route that needs announcements, it's that one.

Btw, for the Class 700 timetable on BML, the train announcements do not announce the destination as Cambridge. Instead, it just stays blank!

In addition to this, it also doesn't announce Hitchin as a calling point.

Rename the Win64 folder in the DL to WinGDK. and copy over as usual.

I've had two crashes on BML which is fine without the announcements, also there is a lot of stuttering on all routes. I hope this can be optimised in future patches. I've had to remove as having smooth gameplay is more important to me, despite the immersion this mod would add.

I've just released an update which should fix the lag.
With the latest update I'm getting stuttering (actually, not just stuttering but fairly long pauses) on all routes unfortunately. Removing the mod made it stop which is a massive shame because it's an awesome concept!
After playing a while, I've realised the sturrering is quite bad with this mod installed. If you could look into some optimisation that would be great.

awesome mod really game changing! found a few issues tho.
when on the BML700 timetable it does not announce anything when departing a station and only plays "we will shortly be arriving at" and "PMTGBTTATP this is ______"
when i tested this on the 710 it was a very pleasent experience. however, when going into barking it should say "if you see something that doesnt look right speak to staff or text BTP on 61016"

This is awesome! My biggest critique is that the class 700 announcements dont have any reverb or echo to them. It sounds like the announcement are being played right in my ear rather than from a speaker back in the car. They sound perfect on the 710 so whatever you did to those would be great on the 700 too!
Should I rewrite existing TS2Prototype folder in game directory?
To install, drag the "WindowsNoEditor" folder from the zip file into your TSW4 game directory (eg. steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4). If asked to overwrite existing files, choose yes.
Stone Crossing doesn't work. But overally it works even on Southeastern High Speed.
Having just tried this on both the 710 and 700 I can say that I'm truly impressed, it feels very authentic and adds so much to the experience - well done!
Yep, this mod is really revolution in modding (announcements are missing on most routes from DTG, so if author expand this functionality to US or European routes, it would be nice)
Absolutely amazing work, really great to have announcements in. I was really disapointed when the 700 didn't come with them and doubly so for the Goblin so this is a fantastic addition to have!

Great mod, have you in plan any other trains on any other routes?
+1. would be nice if there were announcements atleast for S-Bahn trains across german routes. Regio trains don't really need it though (maybe, but no idea if that's worth it), and ICEs rather not at all, as those aren't automated irl.
Yeah, but if he integrated that inside game already. He maybe can add functional G key for it as in Blackpool track.

Perfect would be any German route which has no announcements (all of them). Same for USA routes.
