The EMD GP60 is a 4-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division between 1985 and 1994. The locomotive's power is provided by a 16-cylinder 710G3A diesel engine, which could produce 3,800 horsepower (2,800 kW). In total, 294 GP60 were produced and, aside from the collaborations with Motive Power Incorporated, the GP60 was the last new EMD "Geep".
